Monday, Stripes + a Body

I’ve had these ME+EM trousers on my wish-list for a few months, I just can’t resist a stripe (now in the sale, I wear an 8, could possibly of done with a 10 for a more relaxed fit). I’ve teamed with a body from Nudea, in a ribbed organic cotton, super soft and comfortable, I love the streamline look a body gives you. (I wear a M, EMMA20 will give you 20% off) The beads are from Aurum + Grey and brings the look together.

Tuesday, Denim + Leather

Firmly in my comfort zone in baggy denim and a leather jacket. The jacket is old from The White Company, super lightweight so the perfect layer to add a little edge to my looks in the summer. I’ve had these Margiela jeans for years and always feel good when I wear. I wear an IT40. Sandals are Aeyde and Bag is Bode. This look took me from work meetings to a dinner.

Wednesday, Mini + a T.Shirt

My look for summer. The Arket mini I mentioned in lasts weeks Em’s Edit, (I wear a Small) Loewe’s I Told Ya T-shirt and my Alaia crystal ballet flats. I’m going to wearing a version of this outfit for the next few months, swapping the T-shirt for an oversized knit or shirt, adding a blazer or trench coat. Bag is Dragon Diffusion, adds a little touch of summer whatever the weather.

Thursday, All Grey

A grey suit from Theory for a day of meetings, teamed with my Adidas Spezials. I desperately need to get the trousers taken up but I love the relaxed fit especially with the contrast of the fitted, cropped blazer. Bag is Loewe puzzle fold, one of my better bag buys (I’ve made a few mistakes over the years) - It’s timeless, chic and practical. Bangle is Jennifer Fisher and my red Strike a Cord necklace.

Friday, Polka Dots

I had my son’s uni graduation on Friday and wore this dress from Monsoon (wearing a 10), I teamed it with my Miu Miu loafers to keep the look more me. If I’d gone for a dressier shoe I would’ve felt too done. This was the perfect balance. I use my sliding scale method to keep firmly in my comfort zone when going to events where the dress code is not my usual style. Finished off with my Alter Ego Beads.

Saturday, Simple in Black

Another Merlette dress, (I wore a white style in last weeks Weekly Seven) I’ve had this style for years and pull it out every summer. Simple yet effective. I wear with Nudea’s boxer briefs (EMMA20 will work on these too) to avoid a Marilyn moment. Miu Miu Penny loafers again as I was away for the night and packed light and my top handle Chanel bag.

Sunday, Green + White

I went to a friends for Sunday lunch and wore my Dries Van Noten trousers, it was love at first sight when I found these trousers, I love Dries prints. Teamed with an oversized white shirt from Citizens of Humanity and my Ancient Greek Charys Sandals (I size up in AGS).
