Fashion suddenly has me excited again; after a few years of seeing a lot of tonal looks and uniform dressing, the recent fashion month has me looking forward to some newness.
The excitement comes from the nostalgia I felt watching the recent Chloe show; I was a massive fan of the brand in the early 2000s and still have the beaded bag from 2004. It felt like it was back to its 70s-inspired, Phoebe Philo era best, complete with original boho queen Sienna Miller sitting front row (Keren Bartov is the secret behind her incredible glow, btw). There was something so carefree and effortless about the collection.
Even though I won’t be going full-on bohemian this spring/summer, I will be taking inspiration from the collection, mixing leather and lace, ruffles and denim.
