The February Issue
Where I'm finding my outfit inspiration, craving yellow and an affordable Label Love
I find this time of year a little uninspiring when it comes to getting dressed. It’s still cold, but we’re probably not buying winter pieces and getting increasingly bored of our cold-weather looks. The stores are starting to fill up with new season collections, but we won’t be able to wear them for a while. So, I’m digging deep into my wardrobe and creating looks from pieces I already own, using inspiration from the new season. A win-win way of not getting bored with my wardrobe whilst making sure I’m being mindful of what I’m buying (no quick fixes just because I’m bored of what I have).
I’ve only made a few purchases this year. One is a Cos hooded parka jacket, which is a great addition for spring and can also be worn layered for now. Another is this off-the-shoulder dress from Mango, one of those buy-and-the-occasion-will-find-you pieces, perfect for a fancy dinner.
