Stripe & Stare
I got a few new pieces from Stripe & Stare this week (the brand that makes the softest underwear) and honestly, they just keep getting better. The Seersucker Dress has been my go-to for lounging and sleeping in during the heatwave (I wear a M) - it also comes in a longer length in Black. They’ve just launched a new Lace Collection too, mixing delicate lace with their signature softness. I’ve been wearing the Triangle Bra in Black and Sand, with the Original Knickers to match (M), and they feel just as good as they look. You can use EMMAROSE10 for 10% off.
Diamonds
Zoë Kravitz (you know she’s my ultimate style muse - more on that Here) stopped me in my tracks this week when she stepped out in a Jessica McCormack diamond pendant on a black rope necklace. The contrast of the mega diamond with the laid-back rope just really works. To get a similar vibe (but way, way smaller), I love Monica Vinader’s Solitaire Diamond on a Black Cord Necklace. Ayllón also does a very cool version with a pearl.
Speaking of Ayllón, I received a couple of gorgeous pieces from them this week - the Aurora Pouch, a soft black lambskin clutch with a bold tassel, and the Visage Rosso Pendant.
Bessette Pop-Up
I’ve mentioned before my love for Bessette - a platform with the best curated edit of luxury finds for less, featuring brands like The Row, Toteme, Rohe and Celine. You can now shop the collection in person at their London pop-up, open until August 19 at 237 Brompton Road. Not in London? You can still shop the edit online at SHOPBESSETTE, and use code EMMAROSE15 for 15% off. My Edit HERE.
Claridge's X Dante
New York’s award-winning Dante has landed at Claridge’s for a month-long residency, bringing the spirit of Manhattan to Mayfair. Think signature cocktails and a nostalgic New York–inspired menu, all delivered with Claridge’s signature polish. I can’t wait to go… Book HERE, ends August 29th.
Dreamy Dôen
Dôen has just launched their new collection (including a restock of those Silk Shorts), and it’s every bit as dreamy as we’ve come to expect. On my wishlist - The Amelina, a simple ’60s-inspired mini, The Coraline, a buttery-soft silk satin ’30s-inspired slip, and The Dianne, a floral-print silk satin mini.
Suede Bags
If you love The Row, check out The White Company’s new-season collection. They’ve taken their design in a more elevated direction - refined, modern, and effortlessly wearable. The Suede Bowling Bag has a vintage feel, while the Super Soft Joggers are the perfect kind of slouchy.
Left On Friday
If you prioritise comfort in swimwear but still want to feel stylish, take a look at Left On Friday. They’re currently running 30% off, including my favourite - the Sunday Suit, the LBD of swimsuits.
Reading
I had a meeting this week that left me really inspired - partly because of the conversations, but also thanks to the books that came up (an unexpected bonus). Careless People was described as an eye-opening must-read, an insider account of Facebook that dives into power and greed.
I also screen-shotted The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness after spotting it on someone’s stories. It’s all about reframing how we think about wealth, time, happiness and decision-making - exactly the kind of book I love dipping into.
Beauty
I headed to the opening of Space NK Oxford Street this week, which has taken over a corner of the old Topshop - and it’s incredible. All the brands, minis and make-up you could want in one place; a true playground for the beauty-obsessed. There’s even an engraving station where you can personalise your candle - a chic touch.
It seems it’s never too early to launch an Advent Calendar in the beauty world - and Cult Beauty proves just that with their waitlist now live. Sign up HERE for first access to the iconic Cult Beauty Calendar, which includes over £1,100 worth of product (20 of them full-size).
