What I'm wearing, ordering and listening to this week

Using

I’ve been growing my hair for the last year and working out the best way to style it, as I’ve had shorter hair for most of my adult life. Hershesons The Wand has been a game-changer in creating the tousled waves I love. I’ve also just discovered the Almost Everything Cream, and I’m obsessed.

Wearing

I’ve lived in this distressed jumper from Denimist since it arrived a few weeks ago, not what I planned for my summer wardrobe, but it’s been the perfect layer for chilly days in the UK. I wear a Small.

The Adidas Spezial in beige and black are back in stock; these fly, so I’m sharing them here before posting them on my stories (true to size). Such a good colourway all year round and my most worn trainer. The Sezane trousers I’m wearing them with are a very good addition to my summer wardrobe too (I wear a UK10)

Wanting

In The July Issue, I discussed my current obsession with a lady-like shoe and then came across Prada’s patent pumps; they are now firmly at the top of my wish list.

Arket’s Maxi Coat with leather details is on my wish list for A/W. I love the long length and have been after a coat with a leather collar since I saw Prada’s version on the runway. A strong contender for my first purchase of the new season.

Listening

I’m a huge podcast fan and have been loving Miss Me with Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver. It's like listening in on two good friends having a relaxed catch-up and discussing the highs and lows of their lives. Although I’ve lived a very different life, being a similar age and growing up in the 90s, I can relate to a lot of the topics.

Fashion People with Lauren Sherman is another podcast I’m really enjoying. Lauren takes you behind the scenes of the fashion industry in a way that feels inclusive. I love Lauren’s relaxed presenting style, and she really knows her stuff (I’m also a subscriber to Line Sheet, her newsletter).
