What I've been eyeing and buying this week

Buying

I’ve had this image on my inspiration board for years, I love the mix of the polka dot coat and graphic tee. I’ve finally found a coat similar from Free People so can’t wait to recreate the look, maybe with this Khaite T-Shirt.

This Sezane Skirt, great for holiday over a bikini, just add an oversized shirt and flip-flops, also great for early autumn look with a knit and loafers.

Satin/Silk and lace shorts are having a moment, if you missed out on the Dôen Shorts, these from Reformation are a great alternative. See also Intimissimi for a similar style.

I’ve been on the hunt for a red bomber style jacket and fell in love with this one from Massimo Dutti. I ordered a 12, perfect to team with jeans and a tank top.

Wearing

A Polka Dot Shirt from RIXO, (size 10). I teamed it with Frame Denim Shorts and my Le Monde Beryl pumps for a day of vintage hunting at Portobello Market. Beads are from my collection with Aurum + Grey.

A RIXO Dress (also size 10) on a recent trip to Ibiza, teamed with my Julietta Necklace. I love what a statement piece it is, and how it contrasts agains the prettiness of the dress. Sandals are Ancient Greek Sandals.

I ordered this sarong from ASOS as a last minute holiday buy and it turned out to be a great addition.

Outfit Spotting

Outfits I’ve screen shotted and added to my inspiration folder this week.

Elsa wearing a dress from her Helsa Summer Collection, exactly what I want to wear this summer. She’s teamed hers with Alaia Pumps - I’ve found these similar from Arket.

I’d gone off striped tees for a while, I think the overkill of being told we all needed one our capsule wardrobes did it for but I’m warming to them again, especially when styled like this look from Laura Vidrequin. I’ve ordered this one from The White Company to team with my JCREW Skirt to get a similar look.

Lace slip dresses are perfect to throw on for the recent London heat wave. I love the contrast of the striped top Alexa has tied around her waist giving a sporty element to a lingerie style dress. Pick up something similar from Free People of Intimissimi.

Watching

Call Her Alex - My daughter and I watched this two-part documentary following podcaster Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy fame. It traces her journey from podcast host to media mogul, culminating in a $125 million deal with SiriusXM for exclusive rights to Call Her Daddy - now the most listened-to female-hosted podcast in the world. A story of female empowerment - finding your voice and building something on your own terms. I highly recommend the Jane Fonda episode if you’re new to the show.

Going

Portobello Road Market. I headed to the famous street market on Friday for a little wander and had such a lovely morning. I met Oliver from Oliver’s Vintage who had some incredible 1930s slip dresses and Chanel Jackets from the 90s. A Burberry specialist who’s sourcing me a car coat (Clobber of London) and then wandered up to Lucky Time to try on their selection of Vintage Watches including this Cartier Must which I fell hard for.
